News and Announcements
Club Opens Jan 19
Happy New Year! Hope you have all kept well and safe over the holidays. The BOD has made the decision to wait out the PHO extension of the restrictions on Adult Sports until the Feb 5th announcement. Should the province lift the restrictions on February 5th we will play a second half season within the week. This would run until the end of April. Rooms available for new teams.
In the meantime we are opening up the rink for some practice and some exercise. So step away from the TV, the puzzles and the paint by numbers and come and throw some rocks and stretch those stiff muscles.
• Practice ice will be available starting Tuesday January 19th
• It must be booked on-line and instructions will be e-mailed out on Monday as program is in final development.
• Do not call or email office to book practice ice
Hope to see you soon!

UPDATE JAN 10
On Jan 8 Dr Bonnie Henry and PHO advised that the current shutdown of Adult Sport was to continue until Feb 5th. The LCC BOD will meet Jan 12 to discuss immediate and future operations. Announcements will be made by Jan 14th.
To All Our Members
We have been experiencing times that are unprecedented for sure, but one thing that I am sure of is that teams want to play, teams want to compete, and teams want to have playoffs.
With that being said I wanted to give you an update of what our management and the board of directors are working on…
1) The season stopped early (today) for COVID so this is a couple weeks early for our Christmas break. Enjoy your holiday season and we wish all a Happy and Safe Christmas.
2) The plan is to return tentatively Jan 17th with practice ice the week of the 9th-16th. We expect that the COVID #s will be much better by then.
3) The season will continue from where we left off to completion and enter into our playoffs. It just means that we will be playing into the month of April.
4) If you remember we took payment for the first half to your season so that we could see if we feel we can get a full season in around this Pandemic. We feel that we will be able to complete a season and your second half payment is due by Jan 9th and you will need to arrange payment to Robyn by phone or e-mail.
I look forward to getting back on the ice in 2021
Happy Safe Holidays to All
