Rocks tucked away.

Posted by Langley Curling Centre at Apr 1, 2020 3:29PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

The season ended so very fast
Can’t think of a situation in the past
That left us all so sad and let down
So many wanting that year-end crown

Quarantine, isolation, follow directions
Under the rules keep your connections
Keep optimistic that this will soon pass
Let’s hope this virus falls flat on its ass

So here the rocks sit all tucked away
Waiting for you and that opening day
When we can return to our favourite game
Healthy, together never the same

Stay healthy and safe!

Club Closed for the Season

After much consideration, Langley Curling Center has made the decision to close leagues, practice ice, bonspiels, programs and events, effective today, due to rising concern regarding the COVID-19 virus. As advised by public health officials, it is important to make every effort to “flatten the curve” and protect health and safety in our community.

This decision is a difficult one but it is in the best interest of the members of our club and our community. We can not risk even one member contracting this virus for curling.
We are following the lead of almost all associations such as Curl BC, Curl Canada, BC Minor Hockey, FV Ringette, Valley Ball Hockey, and so on.

As of Sunday March 15th ALL curling activities for Langley Curling Centre are closed for the remainder of the 2020 season.
