Operating under the PHO requirements and to ensure that all curlers are safe during the Covid 19 pandemic, the LCC requires that all curlers and spectators be fulling vaccinated and will be required to present proof at the door. In accordance to the PHO first vaccine by Sept 13th and second by Oct 24th. Exceptions are children under 12 and Youth 12-22 participating in a Youth program. However, any Youth participating in an Adult league must be fully vaccinated..

Masks must be worn in the building including the curling lounge, locker room, washrooms and out to the cold side of the glass. Please keep masks on while doing the toss and storing your gear. Once you step onto the ice, masks can be removed but not mandatory.

In addition, as in the previous season:
1. Each team is required to sanitize the rock handles before your game and wipes are located inside the rink. Make sure only one person per team is assigned so that we are not wasting wipes..
2. Please use on-ice sanitizers after using measuring devices.
3. We have included the ice markers on each sheet and ask that all curlers continue to practice social distancing by waiting on the sides until the other team has delivered their rock over the hog line before entering the house for your teams turn to throw.
4. Elbow bumps are encouraged over hand shakes.

Curling will be played as normal with no restrictions on sweepers and sweeping behind the T line.
Please continue to enjoy our wonderful sport. It is good to be back.
